* The company shows interest in working with EABC to supply Granular Urea and buy Natural Gum
Addis Ababa, May 24, 2024 (EABC): The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation’s (EABC) Chief Executive Officer has discussed with Chinese high level delegation from China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation (CPTDC).
The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation’s CEO, Kifle Woldemariam welcomed the officials of the company in his office and discussed with them; on May 24th, 2024.
During the discussion, the delegation of the Chinese company (CPTDC) shows interest in working with EABC to supply Granular Urea fertilizer and buy Natural Gum.The authorities of the company presented detailed information about the Granular Urea which they proposed to supply to EABC.For his part, Kifle, CEO of EABC discloses that the proposal will benefit EABC and CPTDC as well.
Furthermore, he announced that the purchase of the Granular Urea fertilizer will become effective when the price, quality and type of the fertilizer are approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of Ethiopia and the Board of Directors of EABC.Meanwhile, CPTDC has purchased natural gum from EABC through its sister company and it was also learned that the delegation is interested in buying up to 3000 metric tons per year.
China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation (CPTDC) is established in 1987 and a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation that mainly engages in the global trade of energy equipment, petrochemical products, industrial and civilian products.
The company is among the earliest state-owned enterprises in China to engage in global business.
