EABC Board of Directors Conducts Field Visit and Reviews First-Half Performance

Addis Ababa, February 1, 2026 (EABC):The Board of Directors of the Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation (EABC) conducted a field visit on February 1, 2026 to assess the Corporation’s agricultural machinery supply operations.

Following the visit, the Board held a review meeting on the Corporation’s performance for the first half of the 2018 Ethiopian fiscal year.

During the session, the Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Yeshiembet Negash presented the half-year performance report for discussion.

Since September 23, 2025 the Corporation has been led by the following Board Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Members:

Mrs. Alemtsehay Paulos – Head of the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Cabinet Affairs – Board Chairperson

Mr. Addisu Arega – Minister of Agriculture –  Vice Chairperson of the Board

Mrs. Semereta Sewasew – State Minister of Finance – Board Member

Eyob Tekalign (PhD) – Governor of the National Bank of Ethiopia – Board Member

Mr. Abie Sano – President, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia – Board Member

Takele Uma (Eng.) – CEO of Ethio–Djibouti Railways Transport Share Company – Board Member

Mandefiro Niguse (PhD) – Director General, Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute – Board Member

Mr. Kiya Tekalign – from Ethiopian Investment Holdings – Board Member

Mr. Daniel Silesh – Employees’ Representative – Board Member
