Board Appoints Yeshiemebet Negash as EABC CEO

Addis Ababa, October 2, 2025 (EABC): The Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation (EABC) Board of Directors has appointed Yeshiemebet Negash as Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, effective September 26, 2025.

Yeshiemebet previously served as CEO of the Ethiopian Industrial Inputs Development Enterprise (EIIDE) for more than five years, from April 2020 to September 25, 2025.

She is currently a member of the Addis Ababa City Council and has also served two terms as a member and Standing Committees Chairperson in the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the FDRE.

During her 11 year tenure in Parliament, she chaired several main and subcommittees, including the Trade and Industry Affairs Standing Committee, Legal, Justice and Democracy Affairs Standing Committee, and Public Accounts Affairs Standing Committee, and was a member of the Urban Development and Construction Affairs Standing Committee.

Throughout her career, she has provided strategic leadership across multiple government and public institutions.
She earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from Addis Ababa University, following a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Adama University.
